Cedar Riverside

Organized in 1888, this congregation initially met at 2214 South Sixth Street.  From 1910 to 1920, it was at 2413 Franklin Ave. South, according to the Minneapolis City Directories. 

Scandia Bank (now Associated Bank), on the corner of Cedar and Riverside Avenues, supported many of the local Scandinavian businesses in the area. It played an important role in the financial stability of the neighborhood for over a century.
