This organization was a home mission founded on October 31, 1887, by Protestant missionaries, William A. Petran, Mrs. William A. Petran, H. J. Peterson, W.A. Grant, and William Ashton. The mission was located in the heart of the immigrant area at 29 Washington Avenue South. It was relocated in 1931, to 35 Washington Avenue South.
